Цель урока: систематизация знаний по теме «Past Simple Tense». Задачи урока.1) развивать умение чтения с полным пониманием прочитанного; 2) повторить и закрепить Past Simple Tense 3)совершенствовать и развивать умения и навыки говорения и письма.


Урок – путешествие«Telling stories»

Цель урока: систематизация знаний по теме «Past Simple Tense».

Задачи урока.

1) развивать умение чтения с полным пониманием прочитанного;

2) повторить и закрепить Past Simple Tense;

3) совершенствовать и развивать умения и навыки говорения и письма.

Ход урока.

1.Организационный момент.

  • Good afternoon, children!
  • Sit down!
  • How are you?
  • Are you ready for the lesson?

Look at the text.What are we doing at the lesson?

Yes, you are right.

Today we’ll read and speak about Hobbit’s day and use Past Simple. Imagine! You are passengers of a train. We are going to travel to Knowledgeland. Pay attention. The train is leaving.

2.Фонетическая зарядка.

Our first station is “Phonetics”.

Now the poem. Let’s repeat after me all together. (SB p 44, ex 10).

3.Развитие грамматических навыков.

We continue. The second station is “Grammar”. Past  Simple (повторить правило образования)

Let’s play with ball. Give me the past.

  • Play, walk, want, open, live, shout, be, see, go, say, fly, fall, put, cut,

Let’s work in pairs. You have the cards. Choose the correct form.

Let’s check. Read.

Hobbit was at home yesterday.

My sister was more beautiful than her friend.

There were a lot of sheep on the farm.

The weather wasn’t rainy last summer.

Were you in the mountains last month?-No, I wasn’t.

His eyes were big and kind. Where were they three days ago?

It was time to go to bed.

4.Физкультминутка.

Our third station is “The Rest”.

Two little feet go tap, tap, tap.

Two little hands go clap, clap, clap.

Two little feet go jump, jump, jump.

Two little hands go thump, thump, thump.

5.Развитие навыков чтения и говорения.

Next station is four. “Reading and Speaking.”

  • Do you remember Hobbit ?

Today we’ll read about Hobbit’s day. What did Hobbit do yesterday? Read the text one by one.


Hobbit’s day.

Hobbit got up at 8 o’clock yesterday. In the morning Hobbit was very busy. He washed his face, hands and cleaned teeth. He had breakfast. He ate jam and bread. Hobbit wrote fairy-tales for little hobbitland children.

In the afternoon Hobbit had his lunch. After lunch he watered flowers, cleaned his house and went shopping. In the shop he bought a lot of sweets and cakes.

In the evening Hobbit was very busy, too. His friends visited him. They listened to Hobbit’s new fairy-tales, watched TV and talked. Hobbit went to bed at 9 o’clock.

- How many parts are there in the text?

- What are they?

Now work in groups. Do the project.

1 group: draw the picture and tell what Hobbit did in the morning.

2 group: draw the picture and tell what Hobbit did in the afternoon.

3 group: draw the picture and tell what Hobbit did in the evening.

-It’s time to tell you about Hobbit’s day. Show us the pictures.

6.Рефлексия.

Опрос учащихся, что им больше всего понравилось.

Оценивают учащиеся себя следующим образом: на доске выражения

Very good                     Good                         Not bad

Детям необходимо выбрать одно из выражений и прикрепить гномика под ним.

7. Подведение итога и объяснение домашнего задания.Well,your marks are … .Your homework is to learn the poems.( SB p 44, ex 10).
